BPM & Total Beats
Displays the detected BPM and total number of beats in the selected clip. These values must be accurate to sync in BPM mode.

Editing BPM & Total Beats Tags
NUCLYR will attempt to assign the correct BPM and number of total beats during a full media scan. However if the files were not created in multiples of 2 beats (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, etc), it may not calculate the values correctly. In those cases you will want to manually edit one of these two connected values. For instance, if a video contains 5 beats (which is not a multiple of 2) NUCLYR will not display the correct BPM/Total Beats information automatically.
To edit either of these tags to your media, follow these steps after creating a playlist using media panel selections. This process will only work if the music you are playing has the exact same tempo value set in NUCLYR (ie. make sure NUCLYR is in sync with your music before making these changes):
Enter tag edit mode.
Enable the loop video mode. This will ensure the tags you are applying will be for the currently playing visual.
Start playback and use the CUE button to set your downbeat to match your music. if the video has a known BPM, modify the BPM tag. Otherwise, count the total number of beats contained in the video and adjust the Total Beat tag value to match. It's often easier/faster to drag the Total Beats slider while the music is playing until the visual perfectly lines up with the music.
Use the FFW Arrow to skip to the next video and repeat the process until you are done adding tags to the files in your playlist.
